Fuel oil? Fertilizer? Dynamite? All answers given by North Korean officials as to what was on that train, and all lies IMHO.
Remember a few weeks ago when I posted before/after photos of the site and said how much it looked like a nuclear explosion (as the destruction seemed to look like Nagasaki and Hiroshima) and not simply a "fuel" explosion as the North Koreans are claiming? Last night on the news I saw that Syria had "technical specialists" and "equipment" on that train. Bullshit. They were transporting nuclear materials they didn't really know how to handle and they went off. Mark my words it will eventually come out. Too bad Kim Jong Il wasn't visiting the station at the time for one of his propaganda rallies.

I harken back to the LUSITANIA. The Germans knew that passenger ships were hauling arms, in blatant violation of treaty, and to their credit, they at least had the audacity to take out an ad in the NY Times warning that anyone who sailed on the LUSITANIA did so at their own peril.
Of course, typical English stubbornness (apologies, Sean Pa) the Cunard liner sailed east, at 3/4 speed, with no zig-zag.
The Brits continued to deny that she was hauling ammo, but of course, when a normal liner is struck by a torpedo, it tends not to explode like a low-yield nucelear device.
GL may be onto something here...
